This is the scale that Jerry uses throughout this song, although certain notes maybe sharped or flatted at some points.  I suggest just learning this scale proficiently first, before tackling the guitar of Sugaree.  Plus, once you've got the scale down you can better understand the structure of Jerry's solo's and the notes played.

jerry solo #1

Jerry's first solo is outstanding, but is rather difficult to play at times.
Your going to need some nimble fingers, so practice the scale  before attacking this baby.

Jerry starts the solo out fairly slow and gradually builds it up until
he kicks it into overdrive towards the end.  Dam what a great solo!

The chords for the rhythem during the solo are B major and E major.
Each chords plays for four beats.
Both of these chords are played mostly on the 7th fret,
refer to chord section to see the fingering.
